do you guys have a regular printer (like hp) or do you use something else. Ink is expensive in canada (I shop in michigan and I buy it for 12 dollars but here it costs 20 dollars) dh suggested I buy a photo copy machine.

I use a regular HP printer/copier/scanner. I print EVERYTHING! I buy my ink for around $12.99 for black (sometimes cheaper) and $20 for a two pack of one color and one black. Maybe you should hook up with someone here and have them buy it for you and send it to use...postage might be cheaper....I dunno.....(if I can help,let me know)
I know the best deal I get is at Sam's Club, but I have to buy it in a 4 or 6 pack but I do save. Mostly I wait til Target does the deal where when you buy a twin pack you get a $10 gift card and then I stock up and save the gift cards too. If you order it online does it just cancel out the savings because of the shipping costs?

I also have a printer/copier/scanner. My toner is around $20 for black and a little more for color. I would just try to shop around. Have you looked online for cheaper ink?

I have an HP printer/scanner/copier (although the scanner part doesn't work 'cause the printer is older than my comp and the drivers aren't compatible) and ink is pretty expensive, unfortunately. I actually wanna say that it's around $20 for a new cartridge and I'm not in Canada!

I have an HP Officejet 4315 All in one, printer copier scanner. My ink is very pricey too. abut $21 for black. I prink everything off in draft quality and that helps. I used to be able to get copies uptown for .05, but now they are .10 and it just isn't worth the trip anymore.

i buy mine off of amazon. a place called tech-copy. I got 20 cartridges 5black 5 cyan, 5 magenta and 5 yellow for $24.99.. I have only had one issue with one of the packs.... I have a epson stylus copy, fax, scan, print..

I have printer/scanner/fax too. Got it online for about $160. The ink is about $12 also. It's quick and awsome. I also print everything and this just makes everything easier. It's a Canon.

Print in fast draft or email them document links and have them print, sign and return.

I LOVE that our public schools have gone to this!! I no longer have to depend on a kid who can't remember what they served for lunch...:::: Boys...

thanks blackcat, I'm a stones throw away from the michigan border so we go over all the time. I just can't believe the price difference. I will check target more often, I also shop at the sams club all the time too, I will need to check there. I feel better knowing everyone else photocopies like crazy too

I buy generic ink of Ebay. It's about 20 for a box of 12 mixed colors. You can find it for just about any brand. I have been using it for 2 years now in the same printer. I heard that it could clog up your ink tubes, but I figure if it breaks my printer, then I will buy a new one. Printers are not much more than a set of ink at retail.

office max has their generic ink on sale, buy 1 get the second for half price, so for the price of 2 inks was under 20 dollars, the same price I would pay for 1.

I agree ink is expensive. I by the generic brand from Carrot Ink online. I also get my cartridges refilled for about $10 at Office Max.

I think my ink is like 30 for black 30 for color. 12.99 is cheap!
