When your doing an interview with a family and your not thinking they are a good fit do you say something right then or wait to email or call them later?

I always tell them they have 48 hrs to let me know what they think and when they call I tell them it isn't going to work. I try to say that before they get to the part about how much they liked it and want to start coming asap. It can be awkward but necessary in this business. -
I tell them that I have 3 interviews for one slot and will be choosing the family that fits best That I will be calling all three on Friday afternoon to either allow them to keep searching or to offer them the position.Comment
