Does anyone here have a Group 18 license?
I have 15 years of daycare experience; as staff in a center, my own legally unlicensed daycare (8 years ago), and most recently as a director of a daycare center.
I have been at home with my kids for five years. I was feeling ready to go back to work but we moved to a town last summer which is in desperate need of quality childcare. I have a BA in Social Work, but to find care for three kids fivea and under is impossible.
Anyway, I decided to do what I know and i'm almost done with licensing for a group 18 license. I have two people on board to work (they are fantastic and i think it will be great).
But, I'm still nervous. If you have a group license or haven employees, please share any tips or tricks or anything else you think i need to know!
