    Gotta love Monday's

    Dcb had a meltdown at drop-off and probably 5 times since. I can always tell he wasn't on a schedule over the weekend. It's their kid, so they can do what they want, but it makes for a loooonnnng day here!

    Anyone else having a "super" Monday

    Most my kids are still in "shock" on Mondays so it's Tuesday that is my Monday. ::

    But yeah, that is one of the biggest issues in this job....having to corral them back into routine since it's rare for them to have one on the weekends. But it's a doubled edged sword as you spend all week getting them back on track that by the time you are successful, it's Friday and they're heading home again. !

    The holidays are the worst too! Add in the holiday hoopla that happens on the weekends and the missed days of daycare and it's chaos all the way into mid-January.

    Hoping your day improves!

      It has been Monday all morning long.

      Kids wanting to chase and scream and fight and exclude and dump toy bins.
      A constant need for correction and redirection.

      <sigh>

      With my current batch of munchkins, this is a weekly occurrence - Every.Single.Monday Based on their track record, once they get their nap, they will be fine.

        2 cranky, teething babies. Oh what a joyous Monday it has been!

          Nobody naps all weekend, late nights, out and about. We have been sound asleep since 12. I have to wake them in a few, or they would probably sleep until 4.

          By Friday, we are back to 12:30-2. Rinse and repeat.

          Next week starts Holidaze though, and that means it's chaos until after New Years.

            Everyone always shows up on Mondays with runny noses. Never fails. Idk what happens over the weekends because my son never has one.

              Poor diet and lack of sleep. At least that is my theory on it

                  Yes! What's that about?

                  I started noting it on the app as "Mild illness: 1. Symptom. 2. Symptom. You will be called if the symptoms worsen and the standard exclusion policy applies."
