MMK Other Activities?? T/S %

I use MMK and was wondering what is the benefit of using the T/S for other activities? I know it is to enter extra hours of other acitivities, but what does this do for my taxes??

It makes it so that your time/space percentage is bigger, which allows you to claim a larger deduction. The more deductions you have, the less you have to pay in taxes.
