As we are getting ready to go out, the 4 year old says
"Let's discuss outside time now that it's cold."
:confused:
"Did you know bears are hibernating? It's too cold for them in winter."
"Yes I knew that."
"They have FUR COATS and it's TOO COLD."
"Yes, that's true. Food is hard to find when it's cold."
"I don't have a fur coat."
"No, you don't. You do have a nice warm coat though. And a hat. And gloves. And boots. And a scarf."
"Yes and I'm still cold."
"Well we can warm up by moving around outside. It's not even snowing yet!"
"We are still going outside, aren't we?"
"Yes, we can't hibernate, we aren't bears."
"I wish I was a bear...." :

I start singing "It's ca-ca-cold, BRRR I wish I had FUR, I wish I was a bear with FURRY, FURRY hair because it's COLD!"
"....if you were a bear you wouldn't be going outside so you wouldn't even BE cold...." (as we are walking outside)
Her Mom always says "Let's discuss...." and it means dcg isn't going to get her way. It cracked me up!
