    Term During Trial Period

So I've decided I'm going to term the family that brought their kid over terribly sick on his first day. I'm looking for some sample wording for the termination letter. I'm still within the trial period and don't technically need to give any notice, I just know this family is going to ask why... they were also recently termed from their pervious provider so this will be 2 terms from them within a month. I feel bad about it but I know it's what is best for my family. Any help is greatly appreciated, I've never termed a family before

    Dear DCF

This is written notice that I will not be offering your child a permanent place with ABC Child Care.

It is imperative that the rules and policies of ABC Child Care be adhered to in order to create the safest and most sanitary environment for all children enrolled. Due to your lack of communication in regards to illness, I do not feel ABC Child Care is the right fit for your family's needs.

I am including the contact info to the local Child Care Resource and Referral agency to assist you in your search for alternate child care arrangements.

    Sincerely,

    Provider

      Dear DCF,
As per the contract in the section on illness, children are not to be brought to daycare sick. On Monday you were found to be in violation of this policy and therefore will be terminated.

As per the contract we are still within the integration trial period and therefore notice is not required to be given. Termination is effective immediately.

I appreciate your understanding in this matter and wish you luck in your pursuit of alternate care arrangements.

      Your truly,
      Yoda
