    Where to Find a Sub?

Assuming I can fill my opening in the next couple months (here's hoping) I'm going to be looking for a sub to fill one afternoon a week. My original thought was to use the sub I use now but her grandson comes now and he tends to be a bit of a pain for her when here. She'll still sub occasionally, but I doubt weekly is something she would want to do. If she says no I'll need to look for one. For those of you who've hired someone- where did you advertise?

    Thanks

Our local community college offers courses in early childhood so there are always college students that are looking for hands on time in classrooms that would love to be a sub or an assistant and since they are college students they are usually 18 or older.

    I'd start there.
