    Tube Feedings

Does anyone know if regular daycare workers in Texas may administrator tube feedings or does it have to be a licensed medical professional

Here are the rules for both family care and center care.
You'd have to read through the documents and see what the regulations say.

Contact info is also listed in case, you prefer to call and speak to someone.

      Tube feedings

When I was in school here in Alabama, we did my pump at night and boluses as need during the day. The only thing that I needed help with was cleaning it daily and changing the gauze around it. All of my teachers & aides were trained and even the bus driver

I'm in Alabama also, and yes, we can administer tube feedings. It's super easy and parents must do it at home around the clock, so I don't see why your state wouldn't allow daycare personnel to do it also. But stranger things have happened, so it's best if you read through your minimum standards or contact a licensing agent.
