    Playset identification and rehab?

    Hello,

I was recently given a playset by a neighbor which was structurally sound but needed some TLC. After staining it looks pretty good, but it could use some parts - a new "fort" top, climbing rope poles, etc.

Unfortunately the neighbor did not know what make and model the playset was. I'm looking for suggestions on how to determine at least the manufacturer so I can find new parts? The only label I found, underneath the slide, has long since faded out so there is nothing legible on it.

    Thanks!

I've tried to upload photos a couple times but keep getting this error:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

I'll try it again tomorrow with a different web browser.

Here are some pictures... a couple of the (very) old and ripped fort top (made of vinyl, plastic, and wood) and a couple of the playset.

Thanks for taking a look at them!

It looks home made to me or made with a hardware kit and lumber you purchase on your own.

Many companies sell just the hardware kits and you buy your own lumber and create your own set up.

My DH and I built a new playset here not too long ago and we used hardware from many different companies and simply created our own layout and set up.

Most the hardware for these swing sets are pretty universal. I know we bought some at Home Depot, some at Menard's and other parts at Lowe's. It really was all about how we wanted to set ours up.

I got a play set from the neighbor and went to the local hardware / Lumber store and shopped eBay for replacement parts. Anything that I purchased for it, fit the play set perfectly.
We also searched playset imagines for playsets that looked similar so we would know what we were looking for.
We also noticed that my mothers neighbor had a similar playset.

Like here is one that looks like it would match yours....
