My son asked me something about the daycare kids (we were talking about the days of the week and he asked me if the daycare kids were coming tmrw), and one of the dck's said, "my daddy says I'm NOT a daycare kid...
I always call them by their names, but I guess somewhere along the way my son heard me say "daycare kids" and so now he says it once in awhile. He doesn't say it in a mean way, but apparently the term offends dcb's parents???
I guess I can see how that would offend some parents, and I don't want the dad to think that the kids don't mean anything to me and that they are just "daycare kids!"
Should I mention it to the dad or just let it go?
