    More Food Program Woes

Just went over my July food program claim. 57% of my lunches were paid at tier 2. 83% of my kids qualify for tier 1 (categorically-they use Medicaid, SNAP, TANF).

I had EVERYONE fill out a new income statement because I have not been paid the correct number of Tier 1 meals for a long time. STILL, I'm not getting paid for my kids who I KNOW qualify for Tier 1.

Who can I ask to review this? My sponsor HAS to be wrong with this (and they can't tell me which kids are getting paid for which tier, so I can't get just those kids being paid on the wrong tier fixed). I know that there has to be an agency that can investigate this, but I wouldn't know where to ask.

How do you know which of your kids are Tier 1 and 2?

The sponsors can't confirm for us, however, kids who get Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, and some other welfare programs are categorically eligible. I have 10 kids here who are on Medicaid, and several of those kids are on multiple programs. The only way I know is that I know they are on Medicaid, because that's the insurance info provided by their parents. I also have several families that get SNAP and TANF-the parents have told me that, as well.
