Right there with you today. Lol

Big kids started school today, all the little ones are adjusting to the absence of big kids and my husband was going to help out, but he worked 18 hours of over time over the weekend. He's sleeping through the chaos at least! Haha

It's standard here. I'm used to it!

My 4 day kids always have three day weekends and my 2 day kids always have four day weekends. Only those in tough adjustment periods/experiencing some anxiety from separating from mom have a hard time coming back the first day of each week.
Ya gotta look at the beauty of it...they are so tired for nap!

I know the baby hasn't slept in a bed all weekend. I know the toddlers haven't napped and I know the preschoolers ate junk all weekend because I've got one who can't stop pooing( just poo. Not sick) and two who can't seem to go. Another has had gas and the other refused lunch.
          Wednesday will be better.

I saw all the junk. My diapered preschooler (3) had bright green poop. The dye stained his bottom!

                Pure chaos

It's crazy here. Take the long weekend and factor in our local 4-h fair going on (a big event in our small community) and no school today and it leaves me with a house full of kids who are off schedule, eaten junk all day yesterday and extra grumpy.
I will admit that at 10 am I had already filled my margarita maker so that I can have a drink the second my last "Angel" leaves

My two had "Monday" blues today. One fell asleep during lunch time and screamed bloody murder when I woke her up.

One daycare baby is out sick today, dad said he was agitated and fussy, so they kept him home.

My best daycare baby, who never fusses or cores and is always happy is fussy today. Working on settling into her third nap of the day.

DCToddler came in late this am, and after 2 hours was having a meltdown. We broke schedule and laid down for a nap before lunch, as it was most definitely needed. 2.5 hours later, she ate a huge lunch and is playing happily.
