    Well This Is New...

I've had a lot of new kids start over the past few years I've been open, but I've never had a child refuse to have anything to do with me.

If I get near her, she screams. Changing diapers is a treat.

19 months old, first time in daycare. Hopefully she warms up soon!!!

I have had a couple like that- 1 was never in daycare before or with anyone except Mom (not even alone with Dad) it was a LONG HARD few months for everyone. She ended up adjusting fine and stayed until K.

1 was autistic, and any touch sent him over the edge. I ended up letting them go because he needed way more services than I provide.

    Good luck!

The new trend seems to be kids who can't do anything WITHOUT me. No more independent, self entertaining kids. I haven't had one in a while.

That's what I'm more used to - kids who need me 24/7 and having to break them of that habit and teach free play.

Dcg seems okay, just not really liking me. I don't think she had any clue what was about to happen, poor thing.
