    ugh FLU?!?!?!?!

yesterday morning i was up early as I said in a post, mom emailed sunday/monday 430am saying she's been up all night with food poisoning, not sure if they are bringing dcg, but will let me know. So whatever.
DCG had diarrhea once yesterday, and I was sure to disinfect everything, including myself constantly thru the day.
Woke up this morning dizzy and a little nauscious. DEAR LORD! I have a pretty wicked cold I got from DCG's mom. Finally starting to go away a bit, and now this! If I get any worse, I'm calling her mom. She's already had the heads up that I may call her.

I really like this family, and I don't have any others when I have her, so it's not interferring with them, but the last thing I want is the flu going through my house. I hope this is just my cold doing this to me.

I will point out that if it is the flu, dcg could not have passed it to you yesterday and you're sick from it today. It doesn't generally incubate that fast.

Other than that, I'm sorry you're sick!
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Most likely you were infected friday with rotovirus.... 2 day incubation, but infectious during incubation period.

Could have been from last week. But we do get the 24 hour bugs ALOT. I am already under the weather so it may be possible that it could have hit me faster.

And actually, I generally do say that colds/flus don't incubate within 24 hours, more likely 1-2 weeks, but it is possible even for a cold to hit within 1 day! Not likely but definitely possible. I think it really does matter the health of the individual. General FLU incubation is 2 days, but can be 1-4 days.

Ugh I was so incredibly careful not to spread anything, been disinfecting everything in my house with spray and wipes, washing hands, both yesterday and today.

Well she did it again today!
changing a poopy diaper, I'm being careful to contain and not touch anything (I EVEN WORE GLOVES!) and she sneezed on my face both times. spray all over my face!
