Revamping HB & Contract - Wording Help Please?

I am sending out new handbooks and contracts and need help with this clause please.

After experience with a parent who let's his children run on the sidewalk unattended and kick and pick at my landscaping, I am adding a clause about parents being responsible for their child's behavior and safety during pick up and drop off periods. This is what I have so far:

During drop off and pick up periods, parents are responsible for their child’s behavior and safety. Please do not allow your child to run near the street or driveway, play with the landscaping or behave in a manner which is disrespectful or unsafe.

It seems wordy and I am not happy with it.

    Suggestions please?

    My policy book says:

    Safety During Transitions

The children's safety, care and supervision is the responsibility of the parent or guardian while parent is on the property. Parents are required to supervise their child(ren) at ALL times.

NO child will be allowed to enter or exit vehicles alone or unsupervised. ALL children will be accompanied to and from the child care home by an adult.

Any child allowed to run free or that is allowed to act in an unsafe or disrespectful manner may lose their privilege to attend ABC Child Care.

      as always, this is perfect

May I use it? I can tweak it so it isn't verbatim.

Are you having trouble logging in and need a password reminder e-mail or is it just that you are not somewhere you can log in?

I can initiate a password reminder/reset e-mail to you if you need it.

Also, you are welcome for any help I provided!
If I can help a fellow provider make their day even a tiny bit less stressful or easier I consider it MORE than worth it!

This job is hard. Even harder when we don't have the support, understanding and advice from our "virtual" co-workers.

I also have to thank you for this!! I added something similar to the handbook I just revised and sent out, and there has been a HUGE change in behavior at drop off and pick up. Parents now know they are responsible for this time.

Another thanks. I don't have that in my handbook but will shortly.

                  They are also our future.
