    I'm Going to Assume......

that your kid coming home at the end of the day with his beautiful, crisp white tshirt he got dropped off in, now being many shades darker, is completely ok . Seriously, we play outside for HOURS each day and all these kids love love love dirt! I have told parents over and over to send their kids in clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Apparently perfectly white shirts are really good for that

or maybe plain white shirt looks too boring, and they would like to add color splashes to it?

Maybe it's an experiment to prove that you really feed them, take them outside, and do art projects instead of parking them in front of a "Real Housewives" marathon and giving them nothing but water all day. It's a litmus shirt, clearly. ::

Don't let it bother you. I tell my parents that kids are dirty and to send them in clothes that they don't mind getting dirty. My own childcare provider had once chastised me for sending my son in 'nice clothes'. I told her that's all he had, and that if I was worried about them getting ruined at daycare, I wouldn't have dressed him in them-go ahead and get them dirty!

Ha! I made the mistake of wearing a white shirt yesterday, and promptly got fingerprint all over it.

I used to dress my kids in all white when we had spaghetti. White bleaches up great but colors not so much. ::

That's true. I found that out when I was a teen and started doing my own laundry. :: I also found out several years ago what happens if you throw a little girls pretty pink dress in with your own whites and light colors. It was a light pink, so figured it was a light color. :: Luckily it didn't hurt her dress, just gave me some pink socks, underwear, and a dress shirt.
