    Scheduling Part Time Children

Does anyone have a program or even a template for scheduling part time kids? I used to not accept part time, and now have some that I really don't want to let go (great kids, great parents). However, I do want to maximize my income potential, and try to schedule other kids in those slots. I'd love to find a program that would show me where my empty slots are at a glance to make it easy to look while I have a parent on the phone asking about open space.

    Anyone have ideas?

I just have a typed out list in my phone since my program is primarily part-timers. I used to use a table with columns for M-F but I like the handy list that goes with me everywhere.

    It looks something like this:
    1. Full timer
    2. Full timer
    3. Full timer
    4. *Full timer
    5. *Part timer/*Part Timer
    6. *Part timer/*Part Timer
    7. *Part timer/*Part Timer
    8. *Part timer/*Part Timer
    9. *Part timer/*Part Timer
    10. Part timer/Part Timer
    11. Part timer/Part Timer
    12. Part timer/Part Timer

Those with * by their name means they are under 4. I can only have a certain number of children per day under 4 in my 12. If the spot is open then I put a line.

    "12. ____/Part Timer"

    Hope that helps. happyface

I just use a template for a calendar with enough space to write... of course all my kids have set schedules right now too. All my kids are under 16 months ( infant care only); never more than 4 at anytime
