I work at a center and my hours were cut today, because a lot of kids are leaving. On Monday I'm resigning. I noticed things aren't run the way they're supposed to be. Nothing illegal. Just unorganized. The owners don't really want to hear it. When I write my resignation letter should I get into these things or just says I'm leaving for lack of work? I feel sort of bad for them, but I feel like they won't listen.

Unless you have health and safety concerns for the kids there, I think I'd advise you to just resign, stating lack of hours as the reason and leave it at that. Don't burn any bridges as you leave, especially if you may need to use them for a future job reference. My answer may change, though, depending on what it is you would want to point out to them. If their lack of organization could potentially have an impact on the safety of the kids, you might want to verbally say something to the owners.- Flag
