Stupid Anxiety, and Pregnancy Hormones!

So I sent home my 1st annual contract and handbook update on Friday, as well as my maternity leave plan for parents. For some reason, I am so nervous about not getting the signed copies back, and having to ask parents to return them. I think it is because I am scared to lose any of my babies, because we have a great group right now, and each of them is so special to me. Even the crabby crier has a place in my heart!

I think I am feeling a bit guilty too because I took 3 days off 2 weeks ago, and have another 3 days off this week for a vacation that all parents knew of before signing on with me. I don't know why I feel guilty, because I deserve time off too, but I do.

If your dcfs are good families, then they'll understand, especially if they already knew when they signed on, about your upcoming days off. And you're soooo right, YOU need time off too!!!
Try not to worry. I know, easier said than done.
