A current family will be bringing their new baby in a few months. This family is close to perfect and I happily agreed to hold a place for 11 months. Last month, long time friends asked me to take their newborn. Even when I explained that I could just keep him a few months, they were fine. They are nervous about daycare and felt like I would be a good starting place for him. When expectant dad heard the plan, he said he felt sorry for this baby because he wouldn't grow up with me. Maybe the nicest thing anyone has said about my daycare.
