    Definitely NOT Happy

    Summer is my time of year. I love, love summer, with all the fun outings.

    DD walks in with grandson at 6:30. Oh, you may want to quarantine B today. He's been running a fever for 2 days now. He's not eating, just drinking a little Gatorade.

    I just stared at her. I'd make her send him to her backup. But, oh yeah, that would be me! His other grandparents left for Colorado yesterday.

    If somebody else gets sick, there will be you know what hitting the fan.

    Why doesn't she stay home with him?

      Aw, poor little babe.

      It's gotta be tough juggling both daycare provider and grandma duties at the same time. Hang in there.....

        She would have if she could have. She's generally pretty good about that. Unfortunately, she works for a school district and is taking care of end of school year reports, etc.

        He's now upstairs in my bed.

        And of course, today is maid day. The maids will have to work around him.

          I just looked out my window to see said dd's car parked in front of my mailbox. (The sisters carpooled today.) Our mailman won't deliver our mail if he can't reach the mailbox while sitting inside his truck.

          It's good for her that I can't terminate care immediately, because I probably would.

          Bring me a sick child who is now sleeping in MY bed and block my mailbox. That sounds like grounds for immediate termination.

            :: sure does
            Children are little angels, even when they are little devils.
            They are also our future.
