The daycare hopping and unpaid balance wouldn't necessarily bother me. I am also prepaid and as long as I follow my own policy it is not possible to have an unpaid balance.

However, I would pass simply because she doesn't seem like a long term client. I would fear going through all the paperwork and motions to enroll a new child then having mom dis-enroll her a few weeks later.

Idk....I kinda think lying that much would bother me. Almost like you were being cheated on....hahaa...
I mean our business relationships start with trust, and I know everybody lies to a degree. Heck! I catch one of my moms in petty lies all the time, but they are just that...petty. We both know what matters most, and that's the best care of her child. But different child cares run in different manners, and I can see a problem arising with the child and mom in one daycare, for her to not give a hoot, and just hop to the next convenience for her....like the unpaid balance.

I wouldn't take her. I would be wondering when she'd morph into a nutcase on some other issue. It's not just a little lying...she sounds like a real piece of work.
