    Difficult Child, Advice Please!!!

I have a dkg thats been a challenge from when she first started with me 2 years ago. Lately she had been having explosive frequent tantrums avg 5 per day.. i should say she is almost 5 and even the younger children seem to control their feeling better. Most things set her off and have always. today it was playing in a group so then when i seperated her so she could have own space it was that no one washttp://www.localharvest.org/tc-farm-meats-pasture-raised-with-organic-feed-M49568playing with her... At snack she got upset that she needed to follow the rules and eat at the table... yesturday it was not standing on the coffee table... she constantly testing limits and i dont now what to do. The parents are aware. Im not sure if the behabior problems are from lack of parenting at home, being spoiled or a more serious behavior problem. I only have 12 more days with her til she leaves for summer camp. Im just counting down the days but would love to make them easier for everyone.

Could be the I am going away to school don't want to miss this group syndrome. Like when kids get ready for college. You have a couple of choices...take her from the group when she acts up,set a blanket to send her to or change up your routine maybe more outdoor time ect.

I'd go into survival mode and rev up the outdoor time (chalk, bubbles, large space to run, etc.). 12 more days!!

I would voice my concerns to the parents and just go survival mode for the remaining days. More outside, setting limits prior, no warnings, immediate consequence. You aren't going to change anything with such little time left, unfortunately.
