Currently I am closed (with pay) Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. If any of those holidays fall on a weekend I am closed either Friday or Monday in observance.

This year Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday. For those of you who are closed the week between Christmas and New Year's Day, will you also be closed on Friday 12/23 this year?

I'm closed Dec 23-Jan 2... I am using the 23rd as my Christmas day & the 2nd as my New Years day if that makes sense... I take a total of 20 business off each year inc my 6 Federal holidays. Jan 2nd actually counts as one of the 20 days in 2017. I switch out my 2 weeks of vacation yearly, so next year Thanksgiving week will be my long week & Christmas week will be just a few days off... same goes for my summer week... this year it's July, next year it will be May

I'm closed 2 weeks with pay.
Next year I will only close 1.5 weeks with pay.

If I were in your shoes I would use the 23 as your Christmas!

I am closed the Friday-Monday this year so I still get 2 paid days off around Christmas

Hoping to switch it to a week of next year...debating.

I am observing Christmas Eve on the 23rd and Christmas Day on the 26th, Jan 2 Observed for New Years. I take 2 weeks every year and the days in between are paid vacation days although this year the schedule is weird and I may only do 1.5 weeks and go somewhere for Fall Break instead.

Yup! My policies say that if a holiday falls on a weekend I close that Friday or Monday.
