Do you have parents bring a certain amount of diapers/pull-ups in a backpack or bag everyday or do you have them bring a lot and you just tell them when you are getting low? I really don't like having to keep up with how much each kid has, so I'm wanting them to bring a certain amount every day. Would that be a lot to ask of the parents?

All of my current parents bring me a large supply of diapers and wipes. I just let them know when their child is within a day or two of running low. Hasn't ever been an issue so far.
The only parent who insisted on bringing a daily diaper bag was the one who always ran out before the day was over. I am not a fan of the daily diaper bag.- Flag

I require parents to bring a month's supply of diapers and a refill package of wet wipes the first week of each month.
I do NOT allow diaper bags to be brought or left here.
If a child runs low before the refill, date I just send a quick text and the parent refills a bit sooner.- Flag

I think I need to make some changes then because one of the kids has a bag with all kinds of stuff in it and it takes me forever to find anything. AND I have to change him out of his pajamas every day. Soooo, I think I will just tell them to come dressed and to bring a supply of diapers and such. Thank you all!- Flag

They stay in what they come in. Even those kids that can dress themselves...
All parents have the same 24 hours in a day...no excuse to not dress your child before drop off.- Flag

They all bring in a bulk supply and I tell them when there is a few days supply left. Most of them have been good and keep track also.
I also have parents bring in a bulk supply of wipe refills. Even parents with children out of diapers. I like to use them for a wipe down of hands, tables, etc prior to washing/cleaning (especially after outdoor activity, arts and crafts, other messy activities).~ The Toybox Kids- Flag

Everyone brings them in bulk, I supply the wipes. I let parents know a few days a head of time when they need to send more.
The only time I have allowed them to bring diapers daily were with two different parents who worked at the hospital, and came inconsistently due to their rotating schedules. But I did require them to have a certain amount each day, so there was no chance of me running out those days.
And I would not be dressing kids after they arrive. Whatever they come in, they play in!- Flag

I don't allow any bags to be brought in.
Each parent brings in a large supply of diaper and wipes for their child(ren). I have a place on their daily sheets for needed supplies; when they are running low I write "diaper and wipes, will need by Wednesday please."
FWIW since you have a family bringing in a bag every day. I store all of this in a cabinet (one of those free standing pantry cabinets from walmart). Each child has their own shelf. On their shelf I keep a gallon baggie with two changes of clothes (shirt, socks, bottoms and underwear) diapers, wipes and any cream the child may have. This eliminates the need for bags to be brought back and forth- Flag

I prefer parents bring a month's worth or a whole box, etc. We keep some clothing and other items as listed in my handbook. I don't want to remind them to bring more stuff that often and parents love bringing just their kid to daycare everyday and everything else being here.- Flag

I started a family and it took a full week before I just had to tell them(even though it was spelled out clearly about supplies at daycare)NO MORE DIAPER BAG! I had to be not so nice about either, family came with a change of clothes too because dcb came in pajamas, I had to explain being ready for the day also.- Flag
