    Quick Question

Tomorrow is the first day of our spring break. We have Wed, Thur, Fri off and Monday is in service at school. So tomorrow we are leaving for the YMCA for open gym and swimming around 10 ish. If weather allows lunch at the park and then playing at the park.

The question, should I plan a craft for in the morning? I am thinking they are going to be wild with excitement, but I am also afraid a craft would have to be rushed.

We are at the house Thurs, maybe a trip to the park if the weather holds.

Friday we have a day outing at Boonshoft Museum in Dayton. Which may be a problem because we are taking lunch to eat outside, but it is only going to be 48 degrees. ACH.

Maybe they could make journals for the break. Just a piece of colored construction paper and a couple of sheets of white paper, fold and staple. They could work on creating/decorating the cover in the morning. It could be as much or as little as you/they want. Have fun! You are a great provider, as I've seen the work you've put into planning activities!

Ah don't give me to much credit. Not every day is a big over blown thing. Thursday and Monday will be pretty laid back. But three of mine are SA, so harder to keep occupied. All four of the kids I have right now are great kids.... Until they get bored.

Journals are a great idea. They could do a little write up (or draw a picture) after they finish their outings as a memory book of spring break.
