It's going to be a long Friday

One of my dcms called our phone twice at 710am. Her contracted time is 8am. Of course I didn't pick up. She knocked on my door once before and I let it slide but told her and her mom who is legal guardian it can not happen again. His time to be dropped off is 8am. Someone's going to learn today!. Learn the difference between my operating hours and your contracted hours!

Sorry, maybe this should have gone in vent thread.

Yup 811am. Didnt mention a thing and neither did I. Just because they plan poorly does not mean I have to bend for them.

I pick up phone in a same situation and say^
        - it is not OK to bring a child earlier of his contract hours
        or
        - it is OK and in this case how much parents should pay during drop off.

Kniwing this mom I know she wouldnt bring payment. And I dont pick up because they already know his time. This is the same boy that usually doesn't come until 930 sometimes 1015.
