Feel Bad but Not Really VENT

I called Number 1 on my waiting list when I first first got notice of dcb terming. We left a voicemail just saying to call back and got no response. I sent an e-mail saying we are trying to update with our families and to please call back by next day 6pm. No response. She justttttttt left a voicemail tonight. :dislike: She said she is just waiting for us to expand but had she called us back when we contacted her, she would know there was a spot opening up. I feel bad because I wasn't super specific. On the other hand, if she was as interested as she said she would, she should have called.

I'm trying to figure out what to say to her tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I would go through with an update and ask her would she be interested in the possibility of a spot before you expand. Get a better idea of her timeframe but also let her know that there may be openings before the expansion.

I think if you had told her that there was an opening available immediately that she probably would have gotten back sooner. But I wouldn't lose sleep over it and just carry on as above.
