How Frequent Are Your Licensing Visits: California

I am just inquiring as to how frequent providers in CA are receiving state licensing unnannounced visits? I had one about a year ago and understand that they have been upping the visits to being more frequent. Anyone have any idea?

Before 2 years ago I was getting visits every 3 years but they've since gotten new analysts and I got them once a year the last 2 years.

First 15 or so years, I had 3 visits. My "unannounced" visits called to see if I was still in business. So actually I knew in advance.

Last 10 years, I had 2 announced and 2 unannounced. My last was 2 1/2 years ago.

I get one every year from LIC but I get visited from food program every 2 months and I get visits from QRIS every other month.

I think it depends on the county.

For the past 30 years, mine have always been every 3 years- give or take a few months, except once I had one in August and then another in January. I had my last one in May and I'd heard they'd be annually, so I'm figuring I will be seeing them at some point this year.

I'm in the SFV and for the last two years they have been pretty on target with their annual visits. Before that, every 3 years.
