I have a dcg who is 19 months. She sits in a booster eat at the table while we eat. She is constantly throwing food, her plate and sippie on the floor. I have been working with her for a long time with this. It is usually as she is getting full so she just chucks it. I have started taking everything away the first time she throws some but it is not deterring her. Any ideas?

You could offer half a serving of everything then give her more when she finishes- Flag

I would give her half servings, then tiny bites more if she eats it all. I would also tell her that if she throws food, she's done (and I would put her straight down for a nap, too...not down to go play).- Flag
