This is the first time in probably 15 yrs I have 3 teacher families and one not. I no longer take S/A either. So I have the opportunity to take Feb break off. I would only have 1 child all week....My contract states I opt to take the Mon and Tuesday off to spend one on one with my DD.....I know the non teacher family has options for alternative care for that week....just curious.....would you take the whole week off?

If I had the chance, could afford to and it wouldn't put the family in a bind I would! Heck if it were me I would go on the road with hubby! Perhaps offer it as a free week, so they don't feel like they are paying for something they are not giving. Sometimes it is worth it to give up a little bit of money for a break.
