MMK is the Bomb!

I just signed up for the free MMK 30 day trial and so far I LOVE it! It's so easy and now I don't feel overwhelmed about all of these expenses and time/space percentage etc. Very user friendly!

DH asked me yesterday if there was software I could get to make some of that easier. I told him I didn't want to pay for it. Maybe I will start the trial.

Not sure if it's Avilable nation wide but MMK is creating a new program. If you ask me. MMK ****s, it's like a caveman software. It's probably one of the oldest programs I've seen still in existence today.

Hopefully this new update they are doing will be much better.

I wouldn't pay $80 to use that ever again.

Once I have more information on the new program I'll post it. Or maybe someone else has the new information. ??

Thank you someone that agrees with me. I find mmk to be slow and outdated. I download the app on my tablet thinking it would be easier to enter info. The tablet app is worse than the computer app. The fact that I am required to log in to the website to do certain things and only use Internet explorer (or the replace web browser edge) or that apple user can't use it at all without adding a program is ridiculous.
I want the tablet app to operate the same as the computer app and website. Not to mention they have 3 tablet apps for different user.
The PDF that they produce needs some up dating also. (I create these to check my enter for the day, it won't allow me to pull for today only and it has been crashing when I try to pull a report)

Granted I do prefer mmk over the carbon copy, huge, tree killing forms. (I would love it better if I could enter my info in a spreadsheet and email it to my sponser)

I see a lot of people commenting here that say they don't like MMK ... what exactly do you not like about it? I've tried maybe 2 other options and I came back to MMK for ease of use and functionality for the price compared to other options.

Curious: what's the biggest reason you guys use MMK? Is it for the accounting features, lesson planning, or something else?

reports take forever to generate and everything has to be self generated.

the invoices are great, but you can't email them as is directly to a parent. the parent will only get a notice, not an invoice.

those parents that use their flex pay need an invoice.

you have to save the invoice as a PDF to your computer and then use an external program to email the invoices to the parents. it's not a big deal if you have a few kids, but you have 16-20 kids it can take over an hour to send out all of the invoices.

Hmmm, my reports literally take 5 seconds each to generate. Or maybe I am misunderstanding what you mean.....

It takes a while for me too. However in this case it might be based on the size of the file too, I believe Daycare has more than 6 kids.
However, the program that is used at my church (I do data entry into it weekly) takes less time to generate a full report on 5000+ people (plus all there info) then it take MMK to generate for 5 kids meals / attendance report.

If it was not for the food program, I would not use mmk. Like I said above, the system is outdated, slow and is not compatible with all systems or web browsers.
