    So glad I thought ahead

When I was updating my policy information I added a part about charging extra if any additional hours ended up being needed beyond what the family contracted for. I go by contracted hours rather than open/close hours. Anyway, this situation came up this week where extra time will be needed beyond the contracted hours until further notice and dcm couldn't find anyone else who could pick them up at the original time. I sure didn't want to be open later, but I also didn't want to lose a really good family, so thankfully I remembered having that in my policy information. At least I feel like it is worth my time to stay open a little later, even if I really didn't want to, and dcm agreed to pay the extra It's only a half hour, but as you all know, a half hour can make a big difference

I have a family who has been late a lot. Luckily only 5-15 minutes, but other than that they are amazing. I would be ready to term, except dcd comes in with cash in hand whenever he is late with AT LEAST the amount owed 1$ per min or more if he feels extra bad. I think I will update my calendar to a 3 strikes your out sort of late policy in the future, but we are saving for a trip to vegas just now and every late fee goes in the booze fund ::
