I feel awful. I didn't close, because it is just a cold, and all the kids have either had it already or do now. It was my DD who gave it to me. She came home from school with it Thursday. I went in the truck with hubby Saturday morning, woke up in the truck Sunday morning feeling like crap. Yesterday wasn't so horrible. Today has been awful. Hubby was home today and helped me some and will be home tomorrow. But all I really wanted to do today was go to bed. Anyone have a magic cure for the cold?

Also when someone is really feeling miserable I get All Natural Flu Relief from CVS. It's not cheap and you need to take it 3-4 times a day, but it really seems to help with colds as well as flu.
For Christmas I got an essential oil diffuser and have been diffusing Thieves every morning. It's supposed to help your immune system, but so far I haven't been doing it long enough to really tell if it helps keep everyone healthier or not. It smells great in any case.

plus I up my zinc intake when I'm feeling sick. Also, Tylenol works wonders. It is usually the first ingredient in cold medicines anyway. It doesn't cure anything, but certainly helps to take away some of the yucky feeling. Hope you feel better soon!

I take Advil Cold & Sinus to get through the day whenever this happens. I also rarely close because by the time I get it everyone has already had it.Comment

I had that last week, and my director brought her essential oils and diffuser in. I am now ordering my own! Get some peppermint oil and place a drop on your chest, helped me a lot when at home and not having the diffuser.Comment

I did get a diffuser. I can't say it has done me much good. I can't even smell that it is diffusing anything.Comment
