You know sometime I don't get DCP's. I have 3 mom verbal brothers that have special needs but mom and dad think they are ok. These boys can't do anything for themselves. Literally nothing. The 4 year old can put his coat and shoes on. That's it! Mom and dad go shopping for SNOW boots and come to my house the next day with fashion boots not warm and they all have laces and are the same color but 1 size apart. Their ages are 2, 3, and 4. Why do parent set their kids up for failure? Why? Why? Why?

I'd probably just put sandwich bags over their socks, use some E-Z-Laces and call it a day. ::

Have you done an ages and stages survey with them yet? I bet having them do them at home would turn some lights on for them.

The 4 yo isn't verbal either? And no help has started for him? Oh goodness Has he been to the drs.; I would think they would've picked up on it??? It couldn't be they're just not verbal around you?
Sounds like the dcps are in complete denial and that's terribly sad. Those boys won't get the help they need and their whole lives will be difficult for them. I agree with PP about the evaluation.

Oh yeah they have been to the docs. Its not just with me. It's at home too but mom says she can understand them fine. They try to talk. The 4 year old has been made to think he can talk so he talks like the minions all day long. I no longer watch those movies. Lol. The process to help him is underway. He has an evaluation coming up but 2 years to long but I guess it's better than nothing.
And today at dismissal I'm pretty sure I put the wrong size on someone. I wish parents understood. Even after you put it in your handbook and have verbally explained it

I have two SA girls in 1st grade. They have the same exact coat in the same size. They are also in the same class at school so it has been an issue there. I asked parents to put names in them.
