I Couldn't Believe This...

I had an old daycare mom call and ask if I had an opening for her daughter she's in school and it isn't working out staying at home. She was trying to get out of paying for a full day and asked if one of my other part time clients and her could "work it out" and split the week, I said well no that's not how it works and plus she pays a drop in rate and I'm sure you don't want that rate. I couldn't believe someone would even ask that.....hmmmm

I would have said yes, but I still would have charged the hourly drop-in rate . That way I'd end up making twice the pay for one spot

Still, it was weird of her to ask. Did she even think it through?
