I Bit Off More Than I Could Chew!

I've been planning a playroom overhaul for awhile. Saturday morning, I took everything off the shelves--I have an entire wall of built-ins. My thought was to throw some things away and reorganize. Of course one thing leads to another....the shelves all needed dusting, then the toys all needed dusting as well. Hey, why not reorganize all the books? Oh, look--here's that big picture frame I saved for displaying artwork. That was a Pinterest idea....oh--I think I'll search Pinterest for more artwork display ideas! Hmm...the child-size sofa is starting to show some wear. I really think I could make a slipcover myself. And while I'm at it, wouldn't it be cute to have a cover for the big couch to match? I think I could find a similar fabric in a ready-made slipcover. Better do an Internet search for that.

Needless to say, I am not finished! On the positive side, the shelves are super organized and look great. And a smaller group today means we can hang out in the living room--I will bring some toys in here. I think I can wrap it up during nap while they sleep in the living room.

Don't feel too badly, I've been re-organizing one of my play rooms since July.

I desperately need to do that.

I notice the other days that the toys are starting to look grimy.

Blackcat, that does make me feel better!

Sharlan, the more I cleaned, the more things I saw that needed cleaning!

I should do this! These things are so doable in small doses.
