We are supposed to enter it right then, but it doesn't lock you out, so I often enter it during nap time the following day. I once got 2 days behind and had a visit from my rep and she said I couln't count those days even though I had attendance logs and a menu. Oh well, worth the risk form me a I can't stop feeing a baby or cleaning up spilled milk to enter it right then sometimes
OGM IT IS THE WORST PROGRAM EVER.

I have a mac, so I can't even use it on here. it won't work right, even with using a program like cross over.

I used to be with 4cs where they would let us go back and enter at a later date if we had a paper trial, mail them or scan them when our internet came back up.

I'm lucky if I get them done the same day; some weeks I'm good and do it each night but then some weeks I'll wait until the weekend and play catch-up. I think I'd either switch to paper or quit the food program. That ****s that they lock them and there's no going back. Especially with 14 kids. But then if you didn't have the food program you could claim all the food $ as deductions.
Maybe you should all band together and boycott your food program. Then they'd think about the way they're doing things because they'd all be out of a job.

so true. I am thinking that may be the better route to go and just get off the food program all together. It really stinks wasting all of that time. I just sent an email saying I want to go to paper since I just found out that my internet issues I am having is because the cable is old. My cable company is going to have to come our and dig up all of the old cable and then relay new cable. they said they can't even come out until the 19th of this month, and if it is raining they can't work. They also could not give me an end date when it would be completed. They said that my neighbor hood is one of the older neighbor hoods that has not updated their internet wiring. UGH

        what now...this stinks

I am no longer on the food program. Was years ago. But it is my understanding that even if you are on the food program you can still claim the standard meal deduction.

True but it just ends up cancelling each other out.

Yes, but lowers your taxes, as food program income is taxable.

Instead of the Crossover program, try this. I've heard alot of providers have had much better luck with this program compared to Crossover.

WineBottler packages Windows-based programs snugly into OS X app-bundles. No need to install emulators or operating systems - WineBottler uses the great open-source tool Wine to run the binaries on your Mac.

But it is still MORE beneficial to be on the food program even if you do have a higher income.

"Some people think that this is a reason not to participate on the Food Program. Wrong!

Let’s look at an example: Natasha Provider is not on the Food Program, earns $30,000 from parents and spends $5,000 on food. She can deduct the $5,000. She then joins the Food Program and receives $4,000 in reimbursements from the Food Program. She now reports $34,000 in income and $5,000 in food expenses.

You don’t lose your ability to claim the same amount in food expenses just because you join the Food Program!

So, her income is now $4,000 higher, meaning she will pay more in taxes because of this extra income. If she is in a high tax bracket of 45% (25% federal income tax, 15% Social Security tax, and 5% state income tax) she will owe an additional $1,800 in taxes.

Is paying more in taxes a reason to refuse to join or quit the Food Program? No. Natasha has an extra $2,200 in her pocket, after taxes ($4,000 income – $1,800 taxes = $2,200).

Another way of saying this is if Natasha was on the Food Program and then quit, she would lose $2,200 in after-tax income.

So, even though Food Program reimbursements are taxable income, you are still better off financially after joining."

Yes I am not on it for a couple of reasons but not that. The big one being there doesn't seem to be a sponsor in my area that will take me since I am legally unlicensed.

Yeah, and I'm not on it because when I was, it seems my babes all decide to flip flop nap & lunch or everyone went home early... essentially she was showing & I didn't get paid for the day. What do you expect with 4 littles under 18 months, 3 of which are still under 12months? They do their own schedule & damned if I'm going force a 8 month old to eat baby cereal just because it says I have too especially if the kid is already trying soft finger veggies & is mainly still on BM
