My crazy naughty 2 yo dcb got put in a playpen in another room for time out because he kept throwing toys at our flatscreen tv. Was told repeatedly no. So I put him in the playpen and then colicky boy was screaming and ring leader was leading and it got busy. Forgot about him and he FELL ASLEEP! Crap! I am screwed this afternoon! Ugh! LOL!

Yes, once or twice!! I feel so guilty, but now I set my kitchen timer (which is super loud) so that I never forget again!! -

It's always nice when that happens! I've never forgot about a daycare kid in time out, but I've definitely forgotten about my own!
I did almost leave one day to pick girls up from school and almost walked right out the door without a dcg. She was fast asleep in the playpen Almost all day. I had talked with mom and she wanted her to sleep as much as possible that day. So I didnt mind. My own 2 were young enough that they were napping all afternoon, and i just loved the quiet time!Comment

Never forgot one but I did realize dcb3 had put himself in time out and had been sitting there in time out for a long time, 30 minutes maybe. His mom said he did it at home too.:

I did not forget about one in TO, but I have one DCG that is a really slow eater and I left her at the table to finish her food while I put the others down for nap. poor thing...she fell asleep at the table...I think she was there about 25 mins or so.
Dont worry about it....its not like it happens everyday...we are all only human......Comment

I have...once. I remember putting a dcg in time out in the diningroom and I was walking around getting the other kids ready for an activity and Im like "where is so and so?" oopps. ::
