    We bought a new house w an apple tree. I have applebutter cooking!!!

            OOH sounds heavenly! How long does it take, 10-12 hours? And instead of whole cloves and nutmeg, can you just use powdered?

              I made apple butter a couple of weeks ago.... AH MAZING! happyface


              Our potential new house has a TON of fruit trees, lots of apple AND berry bushes. YUM!

                I'm sure you could. I just don't have any. Lol. We use whole spices most of the time. And I use this really awesome "basher" (mortar and pestle.)
                It's giant. Probably 8 inches across and 6 inches tall. The pestle is 7 inches long and almost a pound. Lol weighs a ton. Lol.

                I hope my berry bushes make it. They were underwater for about 5 weeks this spring. Horrific flooding in Indiana. Since we aren't selling this place u til spring we will be able to move them a couple times in hopes we can get one to live.
