A Must Read For Play Based Family Childcare Providers

I follow a FB page called "let the children play" and they posted this today.

It is one of the best posts I have read, and it also talks a little about how the government has been pushing academics and over regulating family childcare. (potentially regulating them out of business with academics)

Anyway, I just had to share. It is just one more article that validates the important work we do. :-)

Love this!! I didn't prepare my daughter AT ALL before she went to school. She played and played and played. We didn't practice writing and reading or the alphabet or anything. She is now in grade 1 and is one of the top students in her class and she loves learning. It was a big gamble for me because I saw other parents with their children learning stuff and I was worried she would fall behind at school. In the end it paid off!! She is bright and imaginative and also great at school stuff.
