i was wondering how does everyone change their schedule should an infant have a difficult day? I'm a brand new provider and trying to figure out how to adjust.

Hi all!

i was wondering how does everyone change their schedule should an infant have a difficult day? I'm a brand new provider and trying to figure out how to adjust.

I have a lot of "table" toys that I've acquired over the years. When I do have any child that's having a tough time and needs my complete focus I can easily pull out these toys and put the other kids "up" at the table.

I would use the time to assess the child - are they sick? uncomfortable? Is it something I can make better at day care or does the child need to be sent home? Then I can go from there.
