I don't usually put personal things on this board but I just came back from a memorial at the funeral home for my best friend Jo. She died last Wednesday of a lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis). She had been retired for about a year and a half. Her and our other friend were a threesome and now there are only two.
She was a great provider for over 20 years and a wonderful person. She raised 3 children with no husband or child support. She has 3 amazing children and she did it all herself! She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren.
Person after person (including my other friend and I) spoke tonight about what she meant to us. I can't think of a finer person. It wasn't fair that she had to leave us and at only 68 years old.
I just need to tell you all that we lost one of our own today. I am so sad.
All my love to Jo always.
