    Rate/contract issue

Okay so DCM is a nurse in a skilled nursing home. She is an RN. She also has another job at a different nursing home. The second job wasn't coming into play here, because her kids were here overnight and she was working there days. But then her schedule changed to 12 hour days at first job. No biggie I have kids before and after school most days but they work her some nights (they will get here at 5 PM tonight and I will put them on the bus at 8:30 am tomorrow).

She is a great client to work with and brought it up to me the other day she is willing to pay more. The problem is I don't know how to fairly charge her. One week her kids are part-time hours the next they are full-time hours. I want to keep them. The girls mostly are great girls of course kids are kids, and mom is easy to work with. I just can't seem to get my head around the money at this point. Help????

Why don't you try to find her weekly "average" and bill her according to that average.

A little more than part time but a little less than full time.

A fair compromise to both of you.

That is kind of the way I was thinking. And then I guess on days they are here all day (we don't have school Friday) I am thinking I would charge her a little more for the extra hours? Like a set fee in addition for no school days? I guess that is where I am leaning right now.
