I've had this as an excuse (for general crankiness and poor behavior) today from;
the 18mo's Mom
the 2yo's Mom
the 3yo's Dad
the 5yo's Dad
and the ALMOST 7yo's Dad
But guess what was last night? The Pumpkin run and carnival. (a kids 1 mile fun run, plus games, contests, prizes, dressing up and trick or treating) ALL of these children went, and were out past 9, probably in bed around 10. Had junk and candy all evening and coincidentally ALL were TEETHING today.
