This is weird SilverSabre25. But I think they just get on the most unusual places and then climb on for a ride when the child's head gets in just the right spot to connect. When I was in high school, my church youth group had a problem with a few girls getting it, from the same youth group, and pretty soon they got rid of a couple couches that were in the youth room. My guess is that the lice were living on them, and when someone's head touched the couch, a louse would just climb on and then quickly multiply in number (apparently a single female louse can lay 5-10 eggs, twice a day. Yikes! That's up to twenty baby lice that can hatch!). After figuring the couches to be home to the lice waiting for a new victim, I'm even afraid to lay my head against movie theater seats and always put my hair over my shoulder so it's not directly touching the seats. I don't want to take any chances ;-)
