    Birthday Party!

Can I just come and share my excitement!?

Our past daycare provider invited my son and I to her daughter's 6th birthday celebration she is holding for the daycare kids on a weekday during daycare hours. My little son moved to a daycare center 3 months ago and we miss all the daycare kids so much. We are so very excited to get to see everyone and particpate.

My little son is going to be so happy!

How cool is that? You both must have had a good relationship with them!

It's so hard to keep in good contact since we had a mostly just professional relationship with them. We don't have a lot in common and rarely did things outside of daycare when my little boy was going to her.

We keep trying to make plans, but have only been successful twice so far, so it's really exciting when something comes up. I showed my little guy a picture of one of the kids he went to daycare with and he didn't recognize him, and it made me so so sad to realize that all his little friendships were not forever.

Well many of our life relationships are only for a season. But I wouldn't worry about the picture thing. It may be a whole different story when he sees them in person.
