Need Ideas

I am making our calendar for October and I usually do:
Eat your Math Day
Super Hero Day
Red Day, Blue Day etc.
Pajama day
bring a friend day ( stuffed animal)
in addition to all the usual field trips/ preschool curriculum

I have just ran out of ideas
what do you guys do?
Our theme is friendship and family for the month

Hmmm, doesn't really tie in with your family/friends theme but sounds like fun.
What about 'bring a canned good' day, then make a donation to your local food shelf?

I found these all about me poster handouts that I have each child and family. Every month we have a family project. This past month it was the poster

October will be family pumpkin decorating contest
November- tom the turkey reading comp
December- canned food drive-feed the homeless
Jan- family time capsule
Feb- 20 days of love
March- family leprechaun trap contest
April- annual Easter egg hunt for all family and kids
May- family show and tell - bring a family member to share
June- family car decorating contest
July - volcano madness family contest
August- preschool graduation
Sept- getting to know all about me and my family.
