DCG just celebrated her first birthday this weekend. lovethis

I saw sweet DCG's first steps (or at least first for me- she may have done them at home already, but I haven't heard) this morning =) It brings a tear to my eye and I get so proud! Mom already asked me not to share milestones with her (which is understandable) but I have to share with someone =)

Wow ive never had a parent not want me to tell them its so exciting I wanna tell everyone. Ive been working with 6 month old daycare kids on sitting up he is a big baby and chubby but got him to sit up today for like 15 min at a time then he would fall over I put blanket s all around , a little sad but he got a scratch from the carpet, no big deal but dad is really strict and paranoid and stuff..even no it happens and part of learning and yes i was on the floor too,im still worried about what dad has to say. (Even though baby is covered in scratches all the time since they don't cut his nails often).

what.....what a drag. why would dcm ask that. that's weird if you ask me.

so when she spells her name for the first time you can't tell them or when she uses the toilet at school for the first time you can't tell them. thats odd to me.

I wish sometimes I had infants, we only take 18months and up. even then we might only have one in that age group.

sounds like you guys had an exciting day!!! don't mind the daycare mom, she obviously is jealous that you get to spend quality time with her child while she has to work. I love what we do...
